The following outlines the coverages, exclusions and specifications of the Fine Art Insurance policy. Please note that that some of the additional coverages have sub-limits and the information provided is only a summary of the benefits; the actual policy will govern. If your department, division, unit, etc. is interested in signing up for this insurance, please complete the below excel spreadsheet with your Art along with a picture of each piece. Fine Art Schedule

Coverage

• All Items:All risks of physical loss or damage, except those excluded causes of loss; coverage is limited to UCF owned or leased Art required to be insured.

Coverage Territory

• Worldwide

Covered Property

• Indoor Fine Art:includes, but is not limited to, paintings using any type of medium (e.g. watercolor, oil, acrylic, etc.), sculptures using any type of medium (e.g. aluminum, stoneware, steel, bronze, etc.).
• Outdoor Sculptures:includes, but is not limited to, sculptures using any type of medium (e.g. aluminum, stoneware, bronze, granite, steel, copper, etc.).

Additional Coverages

• Transit:physical loss or damage caused by a peril not excluded, while Art is in transit between locations, if property is packed by a competent professional.

Exclusions

• Loss or damage cause by or resulting from:natural aging, gradual deterioration, inherent defect, rust or oxidation, moth or vermin, warping or shrinkage; repairing, restoring, retouching or similar process; confiscation, nationalisation, requisition or destruction of by a governmental authority; nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation or radioactive contamination.
• Loss, damage or liability from:seepage, pollution or contamination; war, invasion, acts or foreign enemies, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power; terrorism and cyber attack.

Limits

• Indoor Fine Art:$2 million
• Outdoor Sculptures:$3.5 million

Deductible

• Indoor Fine Art:$0
• Outdoor Sculptures:
• Every loss except those listed below:$750
• Vandalism and Malicious Mischief:$2,500
• Named Windstorm and Flood:$7,500

Valuation

• Agreed value as reported to the insurance company. In the event of a partial loss, cost and expense to restore minus depreciation, not to exceed full value of item.
