Recognition

In this Recognition section, we’d like to acknowledge Dr. Florian Jentsch, Department Chair and Professor, Department of Psychology, for his consistent support of the university’s compliance and ethics program. Dr. Jentsch has worked closely with the office on numerous initiatives and has served as an excellent faculty voice. More specifically, when incorporating changes to the outside activity reporting process to meet new state mandates, Dr. Jentsch reviewed draft materials and posed critical questions that led to improvements in the process and in the educational materials supporting the changes. As the department chair, Dr. Jentsch also receives IntegrityLine Report Notifications to address concerns raised regarding his department and has thoroughly and competently handled each report.  More recently, Dr. Jentsch has been appointed to the University Policies and Procedures Committee where his contributions have ensured that policies are thoughtfully considered in terms of impact to our faculty and staff, improving the intent and content that has resulted in policies that make sense and enable our employees to remain in compliance.
