IntegrityStar, August 2025 edition
As part of the university’s comprehensive compliance and ethics program, each calendar year University Compliance and Ethics compiles and publishes a report summarizing the outcomes of the concerns raised through the UCF IntegrityLine. This annual review and reporting process allows the office to identify trends and determine areas for improvement. It also provides the university community with transparency into the types of reported concerns and actions taken. You can read the 2024 UCF IntegrityLine Report in this edition’s first article.
Another article included in this edition is dedicated to the University Compliance and Ethics team. As this team has expanded over the years, we felt it was important to introduce you to each employee and provide a brief summary of their background, certifications, and current responsibilities. Please be sure to read this article to learn more about the team.
Finally, the third article and FAQs are provided to help raise awareness of the newly enacted legislation, the Stop Campus Hazing Act. Please take a minute to read this article and watch the videos to learn more about the university’s anti-hazing program and the initiatives added for compliance with the new law.
This edition’s Case Corner serves as a reminder of a valuable university resource, the Ombuds Office; the Privacy Points section provides information on data mapping and how to safeguard data; and in the Recognition section we highlight a faculty member for her dedication to compliance with the university’s export control requirements.
