We are excited to bring you this e-newsletter, the IntegrityStar. You can expect to receive the IntegrityStar once a semester, and in each edition you will find updates on compliance and ethics activities at UCF. Our hope is that you will find the information educational and enlightening.

This first edition includes a message regarding information security and reminds everyone that information security is a shared responsibility. Each of us must do our part to protect our personal and university information. To learn more read In the Spotlight for details from UCF’s Information Security Office. We’ve also highlighted national Compliance and Ethics Week (C&E week), which occurs annually during the first full week in November. Read more about C&E week to see what we did this past November, how employees participated, and who was our big winner in the Recognition section.

This first edition also contains updates on our UCF IntegrityLine and understanding conflicts of interests. We have a cartoon and a small video for you to enjoy. I would like thank those of you who participated in the Compliance and Ethics Culture survey emailed to employees during March. We will share the results of the survey with you in our summer edition of the IntegrityStar.
