Monday, November 3, kicked off the university’s 11th Compliance and Ethics Week Campaign – Ethical Standards. Everyday Decisions. If you have never participated in this campaign, I highly encourage you to do so. The activities are short and easy to complete. Read the first article to learn more about the week’s activities and how you can receive entries into the prize drawings.

The second article in this edition of the IntegrityStar focuses on the university’s Compliance Training Workgroup, providing information on the Workgroup’s purpose and accomplishments. Finally, in the third article and the FAQ section you will find information on the university’s Drug-Free Schools and Workplace Policy.

The Case Corner section features an investigation highlighting the importance of the UCF Ethical Standard Honesty and Integrity, specifically, avoiding conflicts of interests or commitments, and the Privacy Points section highlights the university’s Data Classification and Protection Policy. We also recognizing an employee for their contributions to creating and maintaining an ethical and compliant culture at UCF.

Thank you for taking the time to read the IntegrityStar. As always, we welcome your suggestions for topics and your feedback. Please write to us at complianceandethics@ucf.edu.
