In each IntegrityStar edition, we highlight some frequently asked questions. In this edition we cover Q&As on the transition of the UCF IntegrityLine to a new third-party provider.

 

What will change when the university transitions UCF IntegrityLine providers?

The biggest change will be the ease in submitting and following up on a report. The website is streamlined and easy to navigate and contains the same security protections to maintain anonymity. There will still be the same toll-free call option, and an added feature will be a new SMS text option.

 

Is the telephone toll-free hot line anonymous too? 

Yes. You will be asked to provide the same information that you would provide on the web-based report and an interviewer will type your responses into the website. These reports have the same security and confidentiality measures applied to them during delivery.

 

How will I access the new UCF IntegrityLine system?

You will access the UCF IntegrityLine using the same website at UCFIntegrityLine.com or by calling 1-855-877-6049 toll-free. On May 19, the website will automatically redirect to the new provider’s landing page. There you will also find the SMS number for the text option to submit a report.

 

Where do these reports go? Who can access them?

The same process will be in effect after transitioning to the new provider. Reports submitted to the UCF IntegrityLine are processed by the third-party provider and sent to University Compliance and Ethics.

 

What if I remember something important about the incident after I file the report? Or what if the university has further questions for me concerning my report? 

When you file a report at UCFIntegrityLine.com or by calling 1-855-877-6049, you will receive a unique access number and are asked to choose a password. If you use the SMS text option, you will receive a text with an access number and password. You can return to the system either through the website or by telephone to access your report. There you will be able to add more details or answer questions posted to you. We strongly suggest that you continue to check in on your report. If you see no activity, please do not hesitate to post a question asking for an update. Once the case is closed, a message will be posted to you with the outcome.
