In each IntegrityStar edition, we will provide you with a list of new or updated policies to keep you informed of the various requirements that you need to know. We will also highlight some important policies that we think are relevant to everyone. For instance, are you familiar with the Reporting Misconduct and Protection from Retaliation policy? You can report misconduct or ethical concerns to your supervisor or other appropriate office, but we provide you with another option if you prefer to report a concern anonymously and confidentially. You can use our anonymous and confidential reporting line, the UCF IntegrityLine, which is available 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. Users of the UCF IntegrityLine are never tracked, nor is information about them ever collected. Retaliation against anyone who reports or participates in an investigation is prohibited.
Here are some more recently issued policies:
- 2-008 Internal Control Policy
- 4-007.1 Security of Mobile Computing, Data Storage, and Communication Devices
- 4-008.1 Data Classification and Protection
- 4-505.1 Reporting of Substantive Change
- 3-003.1 Deductions from Salary of Exempt Employees
The online repository of UCF policies and procedures is available through the UCF Policies website. UCF regulations are online through the regulations website.
Draft policies submitted to the University Policies and Procedures Committee will be published for two weeks in the policies and procedures library for review and comment by the university community. Comments will be provided to the committee and the initiating and responsible authority for consideration. After the committee has voted to approve the policy, the chair forwards it to the president for his final review and approval.
Please be sure to sign up to receive notifications when policies and regulations are posted for comment.
