Doing the KNIGHT THING.
Our Campus. Our Commitment.
Welcome to the university’s 12th Compliance and Ethics Week awareness campaign. Compliance and Ethics Week has been designated by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and is observed by many institutions of higher education. This week provides an opportunity to highlight the many topics related to compliance and ethics in a fun and engaging learning manner. If there is a topic you would like to learn more about, please reach out to our office at complianceandethics@ucf.edu.
Training
This year we have three micro-trainings available in Workday on topics promoting an ethical culture at UCF:
- Reporting Options at UCF
- Protection from Retaliation
- Accountability Across All Positions
There are also two in-person training opportunities (must register in advance):
- Ethical Leadership training led by Rhonda Bishop, Vice President, People and Workplace Experience and Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer, on Wednesday, November 4, at 10am (12201 Research Pkwy, Suite 211, Orlando, FL 32826) – Register in Workday
- Digital Accessibility Workshop hosted by the UCF Digital Accessibility Lab on Thursday, November 5, at 1 p.m. (Barbara Ying Center, 12701 Scholarship Dr, Rm 140, Orlando, FL 32816) – Register in Workday
Activity
In addition, this year you’ll blast into a Last Chance Cadet game through Materia. Your challenge is to match compliance terms with their corresponding definitions. Here are the instructions on how to play. Need a little help along the way? Every answer can be found right on our website or within the Employee Code of Conduct.
Prize Drawing
For each activity and training course you complete, you will receive one entry into our prize drawing. This year’s prizes include UCF branded items such as hats, tumblers, t-shirts, tote bags, Bluetooth speakers, blankets, wall art, and more.

Employees who complete at least five of the activities will be entered into a grand prize drawing, where two will be randomly selected to win four tickets each to an upcoming UCF Men’s or Women’s basketball game in December 2026. Thank you to the UCF Athletics Association for donating our grand prizes!
We appreciate you joining us in celebrating Compliance and Ethics Week to reinforce UCF’s shared commitment to ethical conduct. By participating in the week’s activities, you’re not only engaging in fun and educational activities but also contributing to a culture of compliance and ethics at UCF. Thank you for being a vital part of our university’s commitment to an ethical culture, and for making UCF a “Best place to learn and work!”
