IntegrityStar, July 2026 edition
As we move through another busy summer at UCF, I want to thank each of you for your continued commitment to integrity, compliance, and ethical decision-making. Every day, our faculty, staff, and students contribute to a culture built on trust, accountability, and respect. Those values remain at the foundation of everything we do.
In this edition of IntegrityStar, we highlight several important topics that reinforce our shared responsibility to safeguard the university and support our mission. The first article, 2025 UCF IntegrityLine Report, provides insight into the concerns raised by our community in the 2025 calendar year and the efforts taken to address them. We also introduce UCF’s new International Engagement Policy, which helps ensure that our global collaborations are conducted responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Be sure to read this article to learn more about the new policy and its requirements. Finally, the third article in this edition explores how everyday acts of integrity help build trust across our campus.
This edition’s Case Corner highlights an investigation involving foreign influence concerns. The Privacy Points section offers practical guidance on maintaining appropriate access to information, and we recognize a staff member for her work related to Foreign Gifts and Contracts reporting.
