During the 2025 calendar year, the UCF IntegrityLine received a total of 223 reports. Of these reports 219 contained allegations of suspected misconduct or ethical concerns and four reports were inquiries. Reports containing allegations of misconduct were triaged between University Compliance and Ethics and University Audit. Based on the nature of the report, it was either investigated by University Compliance and Ethics, the Office of Nondiscrimination & Accommodations Compliance, University Audit, or referred to the appropriate compliance partner for review.

International collaboration can advance research and the free exchange of ideas.The expectations for how we engage with international entities is found in the newly implemented International Engagement Policy. This new policy establishes clear procedures for how the university conducts international activities, ensuring transparency and compliance with State and Federal laws.

Every day, UCF employees make decisions that shape the university’s culture. While major ethical dilemmas often receive the most attention, integrity is usually demonstrated through smaller, everyday actions, such as how we handle information, communicate with colleagues, manage resources, and fulfill our responsibilities.

Each edition of the IntegrityStar features an actual investigation conducted by an investigative office at UCF (note, all names have been changed in an effort to provide confidentiality of the parties involved). This edition covers an investigation related to foreign influence and export controls.
