IntegrityStar UCF Compliance & Ethics Newsletter UCF Compliance & Ethics Newsletter

A message from University Compliance, Ethics, and Risk

On behalf of the compliance and ethics staff and the compliance partners across the university, we dedicate this IntegrityStar edition to the university’s first chief compliance and ethics officer, Rhonda L. Bishop. Ms. Bishop is departing UCF for the next chapter in her career, but she leaves behind the legacy that she built: the university’s comprehensive compliance and ethics program. Please read more about her invaluable contributions to this university in the Recognition article.

We are pleased to announce that our second Compliance and Ethics Culture survey is now available. We are asking all employees to take a few minutes to read the article and click on the survey link to participate. The survey is short and should take less than five minutes to complete. We will share the results in a future edition of the IntegrityStar, with a comparison to the results from the survey we conducted in 2016.

In an effort to update you on the developments of the compliance and ethics program, we are providing a brief article on the development of a Minors on Campus program. Also covered in this edition is the new Let’s Be Clear campaign. At the request of a compliance partner, we also address questions that occasionally come up regarding the Gifts and Honoraria policy.

As always, we welcome your suggestions for future topics and your feedback. Please write to us at complianceandethics@ucf.edu.
