Jonathan Beever, Ph.D., is the assistant professor of Ethics and Digital Culture in the Department of Philosophy and is the new director of the Theoretical and Applied Ethics Certificate Program. This new UCF certificate program offers post-baccalaureate students the opportunity to develop interdisciplinary specialization in ethics. In this program, students will gain a robust understanding of ethical decision-making and the ways it applies to various disciplinary and professional contexts. Requirements for the certificate are quite simple: two required courses and then a flexible arrangement of ethics-related courses from across disciplines that allow students to tailor the program to their own disciplinary and professional interests. Twelve total credit hours of work are required.

Students can enroll in Phi 5627 Theoretical and Applied Ethics, one of the two required courses, this coming fall term. Please see the flyer for more information.
