Do you host activities involving minors? Your event may need to meet the requirements of the new UCF Youth Protection Program.
Last spring, University Compliance, Ethics, and Risk announced the Youth Protection Program Committee efforts in developing a program dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for minors who visit our campus and participate in UCF sponsored programs on or off campus.
UCF Background Check Policy & Procedure Updates
Beginning April 2019, the university’s background check procedures will be instituted as a formal policy and procedure, applicable to all UCF and UCF direct support organizations, prospective job applicants, temporary staff, current employees and volunteers working with minors or working in positions identified by duties as requiring a background check.
