In this Recognition section, we’d like to acknowledge Brian Boyd, University Registrar, for his dedication to promoting compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), the United States federal law that protects student’s records, privacy review, and disclosure rights. Mr. Boyd serves as a key compliance partner within the university’s comprehensive compliance and ethics program. Among his many contributions, Mr. Boyd has worked closely with University Compliance and Ethics on student privacy related matters and the Drug Free Schools and Workplace policy requirements. His collaboration and commitment to UCF’s culture of compliance and ethical behavior is extraordinary. As such, we thank him for his continued support.
