UCF Compliance and Ethics Culture Survey

All employees should have received an email invitation to participate in the UCF Compliance and Ethics Culture Survey. The survey takes less than five minutes and we are asking everyone to participate. If you have already completed the survey, thank you! If you have not, please click the following link or copy and paste the link into your browser to complete the survey before it closes on March 30, 2018.

In 2016, we distributed this same survey, and the results taught us a lot about how our employees view the compliance and ethics culture at UCF. We learned how familiar employees were with our office, the UCF IntegrityLine, and UCF policies and regulations. We also heard from employees about whether they experienced or witnessed misconduct, bullying, or retaliation, and if so, whether they reported it. Some employees also provided comments and questions in the comment section of the survey. All of the responses helped us to plan our outreach and programming efforts over the last two years.

Since the last survey, we have implemented a new UCF Employee Code of Conduct, delivered online web training, such as the Gifts and Honoraria, Potential Conflicts, and the UCF Employee Code of Conduct training. We continued to hold our annual Compliance & Ethics week awareness campaign each November and hosted tabling events for faculty during orientation and for staff during the benefits fair each year. All new employees received information about our office, the UCF IntegrityLine, and UCF Employee Code of Conduct training. Our hope is that these initiatives have increased employee awareness and education about compliance and ethics, our office, the UCF IntegrityLine, and UCF policies and regulations.

Again, the survey closes on March 30, 2018, and we need everyone’s participation and honest feedback. Remember, compliance and ethics is everyone’s responsibility!
